Hi,

Trying to copy a 1 mb (1079 KB) file from my C:\ to iSeries server \root\dir. This is something simple that I've done successfully numerous times. This simple copy function is now failing. Can anyone help me analyze this?

When I Copy To Folder \root\dir, I get the error:

"Cannot copy filename: The specified network name is no longer available."

When I Copy To Folder \root\dir\subdir\subdir, I get the error:

"Cannot copy filename: The path is too deep."

When I Export from and Access database to \root\dir\subdir\subdir, I get the error:

"Windows - Delayed Write failed
Windows was unable to save all the data fro the file \\servername\root\dir\subdir\subdir\filename. The data has been lost. This error may be caused by a failure of your computer hardware or network connection. Please try to save this file elsewhere."

Followed by this error message:

"The Microsoft Jet database engine could not find the object 'filename'.  Make sure the object exists and that you spell its name and the path name correctly."

When I Save As from Notepad++ to root\dir\subdir\subdir\filename, the file is incomplete 128 KB out of 1079 KB or 256 KB out of 1079 KB.

Thank you,

Elliot
