Subject: SQL - using INSERT with VALUES question

I am trying to insert into tableB all the values from the columns in
tableA.
TableB has all of the same columns as in tableA plus 2 additional columns,
one for a timestamp and one for a flag.
If table B did not have these two additional columns I could use the
following stmt:
INSERT INTO tableB (SELECT * FROM tableA)

Is there a way of inserting into tableB all of the columns of tableA and
the additional values mentioned above without having to enumerate each
column in my INSERT stmt? There are around 150 columns in these tables. I
thought maybe the following: INSERT INTO tableB (SELECT *, current
timestamp, ' ' FROM tableA) but this is incorrect.
Thanks.
