Just a thought: do you need the SQL dev toolkit to use JDBC access to the
data (I'm thinking QuantumDB in WDSCi)?

I can't remember when I last used STRSQL, but I use Quantum every day.

Re: SQL Finding & Using

Having Interactive SQL (one of the things that comes with the SQL
Development Toolkit) allows you to view data on an ad hoc basis. No
programming required, and it's easy to duplicate the same data
presentation that would be done with a program. Makes testing easier.

I would certainly rather work on a system with interaction SQL than not.
