I have some significant experience here.....

The DIMMs for many of the single CPU 270s and the i810s are virtually
exactly the same stuff. Tried them and they even report in as the
correct feature!. Woo Hoo! They unfortunately also report in as 0MB.
Booo. Discussions with people in Rochester that know this stuff say
'Sorry, close doesn't count.'

Now for your i820 memory vs the i270 memory the 270 memory is DDR
while the i820 stuff is not. So itnoworkie.

This was probably an 810, not an 820, Larry. My brain is quite smooshy
after a weekend of order numbers, part numbers, feature numbers, model
numbers and serial numbers.

And of course the System Unique Identifier.
