put a quote for the value, that will turn it into a character string.
I do not know how many rows or colums you have to correct, but I often use:
F2 (edit)-home (beginning of the cell-add quote.

You may use a function to make it character as well: I think it is
something like: =TEXT(<cell>;"000")
