It seems strange to me that the cume is coming on all completely full ISO
images of exactly 675MB, while the groups are coming on varying sizes. Of
course, the naming is different so I can guess they're probably built by
slightly different processes, but I was wondering if anybody has come
across this?

I think (therefore I could be wrong and there's a good chance *I've* left the cap of the marker pen) that this may be the difference between 'disc-at-once' images (the 675MB files) and 'track-at-once' images.

Disc-at-once images are also usable by disc pressing systems, where track-at-once are not.
