List,

We have several remote OUTQ/printers defined via *IP. Print is making it to
the printers but we can't get a separator/banner page to print with the
file. These printers have the type as *HP5SI with SEPPAGE(*YES) and
JOBSEP(1). Using information in RFC 1179, section 7, I tried putting various
commands in the DSTOPT() field with no success. According to the detail HELP
for DSTOPT() on SNDTCPSPLF, if you use some of the reserved command options,
you will receive a warning message. An excerpt from the help:

The following control characters
cannot be specified as their values are determined by SNDTCPSPLF. If
any of the following control characters are specified, the option is
ignored and a warning message is generated.

C T
H U
I W
L 1
M 2
N 3
P 4
S k

I even tried some of these and got no results but no warning message. That
seems to tell me that the values in DSTOPT are not being considered or sent
with the print to the remote printer.

Anyone have any ideas to help with this? What I am missing? TIA!
