I don't know what the limitation is but I've used at least 300
characters with no problem. Just create your input file with a larger
record length.

I don't know a way to do a continuation.

We are having problems with FTP scripts when the length of the command
is longer than 80 characters, and I haven't yet found any documentation
on limitiations for batch FTP. Is there a way to continue an FTP
command onto another line?
