That situation was present with my last set of V5R4 PTFs, loading the
cume,DB, and hipers from one catalog worked without a hitch. The cume
directions describe how to continue the process after the IPL occurs.

That's all well and good, but how about those instances where you have a
pre-req that requires an IPL before moving forward? I always use 2 image
catalogs.

I had the same question the first time!

When I did my cume and groups from ICs, I loaded the cume, the DB group,
and the Hiper group all to one image catalog. (loaded the discs to the
catalog with cume first, then the other 2 groups)

Then when loading the PTF group within option 8, choose the option for a
single PTF volume set (option 1 i'm pretty sure).

Can I download a Cume and Group PTF's to the same image catalogue for
later install in a single pass?

Well, I guess that's not really the way to word the question. Obviously
multiple PTF's (Groups or Individuals) can be downloaded to a single
image catalogue. I guess the real question is, on the "Install Options
for PTFs" panel, what option would need to be entered in the 'Prompt for
media' option to get all PTF's installed in a single pass?

I've used IC's for upgrades, Cume's, Groups, and Individuals, but never
in combination. Sorry if this is an obvious thing.
