The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

I do not have any examples presently. As "external", effectively any
program [language, even with SQL] can be used to generate the results
for the UDTF [user defined table function]. The UDTF can be pure SQL,
specifying LANGUAGE SQL instead of EXTERNAL NAME.
