Others are probably going to suggest this, but here goes. I just created an image catalogue and downloaded them straight into the IFS (a mapped drive in Windows). I have two systems (both at V5R4). After applying the Cume to the backup system, I just copied the images to the catalogue on the production box using a mapped drive in Windows Explorer.
