No exactly mis-membering David but there is a spelling error and a bit
missing.

OPM compilers generated MI - this is translated to executable code (mi).
ILE compilers generate W-code which in turn is converted to MI-Prime (which
looks a lot like W-code) which is translated to executable instructions
(mi).

The MI being referenced in the document relates I suspect is the generic mi
- i.e. the instructions that get generated by the translator for actual
execution.
