Re: Writing to AS/400 CD

It is my understanding that the CD drive that we have on the iSeries can be used to burn CDs. We want to use it to exchange data.

How do I burn a CD from the AS/400?

I know how to burn a CD from my PC.

The usual way to write to some kind of CD - which you can't do to the hardware we get - is to make an image catalog entry that is writable of
cd size, then write to it, then take that image file to a pc and burn it to plastic there.

i must admit i did not completely understand the question - was there a typo in it?
