We have been happy with the RJS solution. Index database resides in
DB2/400 and the images are in the IFS. You can tie their app in with
your own 5250 or web based apps so a function key on a 5250 app could be
added that would display a list of images for the vendor being viewed.

Subject: Thinking about "paperless"

My boss would like us to look into our first "imaging" application.

As the starter project, he would like Purchase Requisitions/Purchase
Orders, and the related Packing Slips and Invoices all scanned in,
Indexed, filed, and available for RECALL and Drill Down.

I'm sure the software is the key productivity point here (whether home
grown or purchased), and I'm wondering what some of your good (and bad )
experiences have been in this area?
