Are these records in a database file or a spool file Glenn ?

Either can have the # of records increased from the default but be careful
you don't have a runaway job writing "looping" records.

Subject: Successful Job Completion

Let me first admit that I come from a VSE Mainframe background. I need
to make sure that every job on my Iseries finishes successfully. How do
I make a job send a break message when a job cancels? I am asking very
generically.

The reason I'm asking is that when I submit certain jobs they are
canceling. When I run them interactively I get a break message, for
example, I've reached the maximum numbers of records. When the job was
submitted it just canceled with no indication of the problem.
