The archive server is back up ... I was able to recover 100% of the data
without a major problem.

Luckily the drive that failed hadn't failed entirely. I was able to
recover the defective sectors using Spinrite and then copy the whole
thing to a new drive.

As always, let me know if you notice anything out of the ordinary.
