The problem was introduced by a change to the system code for RCVF to
use an API instead of internals.
The latest PTF SI21404 [APAR SE22871] supersedes the early PTF
SI17567 [APAR SE19130]. The former is not yet on a cumulative, and the
latter is on the C5298530. If that cumulative from 2005 is not yet
applied, I would suggest something more current like C7121530. If the
early PTF did not address the specific usage of DDMFile that is seeing
that error in the noted scenario, the latest should.

The failing command is RCVF. The file is opened and the DDM session
established. I'm hoping this is a know problem with a PTF just waiting to
