My guess for the terminal is that the wrong keyboard is selected.
If memory serves you turn off the terminal and hold down the space bar to get it into setup mode.

Lets see....setup and F-24 changes the address of the terminal. you should be able to see the number move in the lower right hand corner. 1 then 2 then 3 then you get the clue.

And I recall that F-23 set the keyboard. It needs to be "--" That's two dashes. I think you had choices up to 63 or 64.

I also recall that F-20 set the terminal mode one display or 1 display & 1 print or 2 displays.

One more question - I've got a 3197 Color workstation as the console. It's address and port are both "0" on the brick. I don't really use it as I come in through TCP/IP. For some reason, it will not accept and input from the K/B. Any entry results in a flashing Red "0037".
I know it would make a good boat anchor, but, any ideas?
