Seriously, thanks the tip. I also discovered that I'm downlevel and that
WDSC upgrades are not handled through the normal PTF process. Silly me.

You can turn that off anytime you want: Window/Preferences/Remote
Systems/Remote Systems LPEX Editors/iSeries Parsers/ILE RPG then uncheck

When in Remote Systems Explorer view (where the editing takes place)
press
Ctl-Shift-A to open a member. This too has been documented here many
times.
