Another thing that I often do is to create a 1x1 table in Word, then copy and paste just the characters from the 5250 display by using (with iSeries Access emulation) <Edit> <Select All> <Copy Selected text to Clipboard> and paste it into the Word table.

I then change the font to a non-proportional spacing font, and underlining or highlighting the field text or values from the display screen for emphasis. This technique requires less space - making the Word document much smaller, since the images generated by <Control-Prnt Scrn> can be very large...

Sure, of course - same as Jon said, and what I often do with Paint Shop Pro - to get a screen shot. The question here was, however, how to do it another way - using the attribute bytes that are a part of the output of STRCPYSCN. For example, maybe you don't want the black background - you can play with the graphic captured image - or do this macro in Word. You pays your money, you takes your choice.
