Steve,

Remember it too, but have never come across this special function
in CA/400 (or whatever it's called nowaday).

But used it a lot (many years ago) to find free space on a screen for
adding a new field.

Subject: Viewing 5250 attribute bytes

I just added some code to reverse the image of a word in a displayed
output field.

It's funny what pops into ones mind at times but I remembered that on an
old dumb terminal there was often a little switch that you could toggle
a mode which showed the attribute bytes.

Is there anyway to see that same mode using Client Access? Don't know
why I need to do it but was just curious.
