Hi Nick,

I looked up the information about the IBM Infoprint 21
on the System i Technical Support Web Site this
evening.

http://www-912.ibm.com/s_dir/slkbase.NSF/acf2ee1e9d64b16e8625680b00020389/17ab340fed4ddc61862569c10078aa3c?OpenDocument

I noticed the following items, which might be relevant
to your current situation.

The AS/400 PJL system driver program you are using is
listed as not being supported by this printer model,
which is probably why it hangs up so frequently and
nothing is printed. Try changing your IBM host System
Driver Program entry to *IBMSNMPDRV, which is listed
as being supported.

The Manufacturer Type and Model suggested for use with
this printer is listed as *INFOPRINT21 or *IBM4322.
Changing this setting from the current *HP5 could
definitely impact the placement of the Overlay on the
page.

Best Regards,

/Paul

Hi Scott,

I thought of that a while back. But, the backup
printer that is in our Shipping Dept is a Sharp
ARM350, which I can not configure as *IPDS.

If I change my PRTF/OVERLAY to fix the movement of
the >Overlay to print on an IPDS printer, I can no
longer >print it on the Sharp printer, as the overlay
will >have moved.

Thanx,

Nick
