remember - that blue pillar on the left is where OS/400 USED TO BE. Look

the discussions we have been having here lately... PHP? AJAX? For a start,
can an AS/400 do that? NO!!

can an as400 expose all its programs as web services? can the as400
database be integrated with sql server to the extent a native .net
program can access it as just another sql server database? yes it
can, using host integration services. No doubt, other non IBM software
could extend the reach of our system even more. The only thing holding
back the as400 is IBM refusing to allow i5/OS to run on market priced
p5 hardware.
