And, the fun I also had was an inability to do a PWRDWNSYS *IMMED
RESTART(*YES) IPLSRC(B) on multiple lpars. Then again, the person(s)
working these were good people, but not really your "A" players when it
comes to system maintenance. The PWRDWNSYS was timing out. I suggested
to both the coworker and the CE (Tom) that they do a ENDSBS *IMMED and
wait for the QSYSOPR message prior to attempting the PWRDWNSYS. Worked
wonders. Granted, my downtime instructions cover this, when done
sequentially, but when you throw in extra IPL's to do certain stuff then
handling the exceptions starts to come into play.

Fighter commander to pilot: How in the blazes could you miss something so
obvious as the incoming missile warning alarm screaming into your helmet?
Pilot to commander: Well, my windshield was obstructed by my backseaters
brains. I had a broken ejection seat handle in my left hand. The wing
breaking apart on the port side was quite noisy. The flames shooting out
on the engine on the starboard side was distracting. The fire alarm,
weapons empty, and the low fuel alarms, going off at the same time were
also disconcerting. So, I guess it's an engineering fault on the part of
the choice of warning sounds for the incoming missile warning perhaps?
