Hi Mike,

I doubt your issue is with either the remote output
queue definition or the Host Print Transform program.

I noticed that your remote printer queue name was
FORMPORT and that your host queue name was CHECKTEST.
To me, it sounds like the IBM host spool files are
being post-processed to create a special format.

If this is correct, the incoming data stream must
match the sample used to create the special form
mapping exactly. If it is using unexpected PCL
commands or has moved a particular field to a
different location on the page, you will get the type
of corrupted result you are describing.

If you can further explain what is happening to the
data after it leaves your IBM host, I might be able to
provide some further suggestions.

Best Regards,

/Paul

subject: Problems setting up hp4350n as remote outq.

I have setup a remote outq to print to a HP4350n
printer. I have it setup the model as *HP4. I have
tried Host Transform as both *yes and
*no.

When I print using Host Transform *yes, I get (I
guess >it is pcl) on the first line of every page on
the >form.

Anyone have any experience using this printer as a
remote outq? Or how I can resolve this.

Here is the configuration.
