The Windows Explorer option doesn't appear to work. I have several IFS folders mapped already and Explorer's Properties tab shows the same Used/Free for all of them.

Hi Frank,

Hi, I want to view the size of all the directories in the IFS and their subs.

As perverted as it sounds, will Windows Explorer work for you? You'll need to map a network drive to your iSeries and start file server or whatever it's called from Operations Navigator, but then you could use your PC to explore your IFS.

An alternative is QSH (qsh) or PASE (call qp2term) and do the Unix thing (probably Perl since QSH doesn't have du -sk)

Another alternative is to write up your own HLL code (Scott Klement has done some good tutorial work on IFS/stream files) that drills down and does the deed.
