Jim Sloan wrote a series of articles back in the 90's on this
very subject. FMTDTA won hands down in most cases.

Opnqryf does well in "certain" situations but requires a great
deal more screwing around to get a pretty simple solution.

I vote for "leave it alone".

IBM is not very likely to remove one of the "core" utilities
that has been around for quite a while.
