Well, if it isn't a DASD overflow problem, do a DSPLOG QHST. Scroll
backward, and see if you can see a problem there. Check the entries before
your IPL this morning, and see if you can find something. Also try the
WRKPRB command, and see if there are any problems there.

My first guess is that you filled up your disk. Do you have anyone
experienced in systems administration?

If you have the system restarted, type WRKSYSSTS from a command line, and
see what your '% of system ASP used' is, in the upper right section of the

screen. if it's 90% or above you have a problem because the systems stops
communications as the DASD gets above 90%.
