At the screen level, there are indicators that enable various function keys, or disable them. Check source code for display files. We use DDS. I not know if there's other languages with similar support. SDA perhaps.

I wonder if this is something that can get an OVR over ride at the CL or higher level, so not have to change every screen definition (then recompile the program involved to avoid a level check). If an over ride is doable, check what if anything runs when users sign on the system, so you only have one place to change

There's something that controls whether function keys are allowed in a program and I forgot what it is, looked for it and can't find it. It's a simple yes or no. Do you know what it is?

Some of our custom programs return a "Function key not allowed" when using the print button on a dumb terminal keyboard and some programs perform the desired host print. I want to enable host printing for all our programs.

Thanks in advance.
