No black box, but I do try and stick to large enough fields for US Postal Standards in their Publication 28, (50 char fields), plus a UN standardized country code, and alpha zip code, add phone(big enough for international), cell, fax, email, and time zone. plus unlimited comments.
Postal software checks help to standardize the address and fix
city name spellings and add zip+4 if usa.

Subject: Is there a black box for name & addresses

Is there a black box for names & addresses?

Through the years I have spent hours on names and addresses. The
problems are always the same, whether is it A/P, A/R, Payroll, Marketing
leads, etc.

It dawns on me that the simplest solution is a black box for Names &
addresses. I've thought about it a great deal. It isn't so simple,
after all.

So,,, It would interest me to read the thoughts of others here about
the idea of a name & address black box of some kind. What say you? Any
ideas?
