Also makes me wonder if it would just "die"

In the middle because the stuff it needs to do the rm -r would be
deleted in the process....hmmm....anyone ever done this and care to
share a story.

Yikes!  Don't run that!  That'll delete EVERYTHING.  Including the 
operating system (if you have enough authority).  Including every file 
on every Windows server on the network (if you have authority/access).
