V5R4 thru cume 06192
Have a lib of 10,000 files, each 20-100 records, all 
based on same dds. Expanded a number of alpha fields, 
none shorter, none dropped. No triggers or constraints.
It is processing about 3 files a minute (which makes
this a VERY long run, in batch. No contention for the 
files. I can see in job stack it is spending lots of 
time appearing to check for triggers & contraints.
This is much slower than it used to be. I have previously
processed the same file set, similar change, in a few hours,
not 55 hours.
