we do not use DCM.  the clocks poll directly from the clock to the Kronos 
database on the System i.  the clocks just simply would not update the 
time.  We got a patch from Kronos that enabled us to fix them.  We're 
still doing cleanup on time punches lol.

Can you elaborate? I updated 20 Kronos 4500 and 9 Kronos 480 clocks with
no issues. Did you send the initialize command after updating DCM? Did
you have a test system to apply and verify changes beforehand?

We had problems with the 4500 kronos clocks also.  No problems with the
older clocks
