Thanks George.

But it didn't work.

The data light flashes briefly and that's it. And the spool file went
to
SAV status as if it completed.

That't the same result I've gotten when trying as a device.

As Mr. Franz pointed out, I forgot the WSCST(QWPDEFAULT) parm, might
help, might not.

The Zebra is expecting plain vanilla ASCII ZPL scripts. So maybe a
stupid question, but you are sending it something containing ZPL, not
just an arbitrary spool file right? It'll just ignore anything it
doesn't understand as a label.

One thing you could try to make sure that the data you are sending is ok
is to send it the printer via FTP. Copy the spool file to file on your
pc, then do:
FTP the.printer.ip
{hit enter for user/pass prompts, nothing needs to be entered}
Put file_with_label
Quit

If you still don't get a label, I'd really suspect your sending it
something broken in some way. If you don't get any output, you could
post a sample label and I'll see if one of our printers will cooperate.
