RE: Zebra 110xi - as a print device

Page range printing, for a start.  Also the fact I was told it can be

set up

as a print device, and have Zebra literature that says it can be done.


Perhaps you can if the printer is serial connected. The manuals go into
serial connected printer pools and such.

But with tcp/ip, I'm pretty positive the options are LPR or FTP to do
anything. (LPR is what Remote outq accomplishes, and yes, you can FTP
label scripts to them as well. FTP might only work with ZebraNet servers
though...)

FWIW, even the windows drivers just use LPR to do their work. 

In my experience, 'missing' features like 'page range printing' aren't
noticable with label printers unless the generating
application/procedures are forcing it be an issue. (In which case they
can and should be changed.)
