You have said that it doesn't work, but you haven't said how you know it doesn't work. That's important because you also described the table as a 'temporary' table; if that means that the table is in QTEMP of the interactive job and you don't see records in it after submitting the program call to batch, then it makes perfect sense -- you /shouldn't/ see records in a QTEMP file after a batch job finishes.
Can you please describe what is meant by 'temporary' and how you determine that it didn't work?
