You can also write a program pretty easily that sits at a message
queue, and when a message is received, it does something...like send
it to multiple queues or whatever.

Too bad that field didn't contain multiple msgq's because it would be a one
time change. But, since we're a SOX shop and justify every chgusrprf with an
audit that won't fly (I don't think).

Frank,

How about changing the MSGQ parm on the User profile to another message
queue?

You could purchase some "paging" software. Then that could monitor any
number of actions. Including what you are asking for. Or, send it as
email (which is becoming more popular than checking messages).
MSI
LXI
Robot
all come to mind.

Messages to multiple msgq's?

Hello, we run BRMS and our nightly backup is done w/a usrprf that is never

signed on.

Is there any way for BRMS to send a message to another users msgq?

If that's not possible, I'd like the msgq of this usrprf that runs the
save to send a message to another msgq. Is that possible?

Thanks, Frank
