Someone did a Java version of TN5250, though I only used it at a sort of "Beta" 
level. Don't remember who exactly. Sorry about that whoever it was, because I 
believe in credit where it's due...

I have used the Win32 Mochasoft emulator, and it is really easy to use.  A 
site license is very reasonably priced.  The open source tn5250 emulator 
is another remote access option.  It's not browser based, but it is very 
handy, and you don't have to worry about any licensing or redistribution 
issues.  If you have any Linux users connecting, it might even be a simple 
apt-get install for them (it was for me!).
