Yes, it sure is NOT a rollyour own command here. FTP is in three
libraries: QSYS, QSYSV4R5M0, and QSYSV5R1M0.
I guess that rules that out, too.

Tried this: WRKREGINF EXITPNT(QIBM_QTMF*)
There are five entries (three the same), but none have exit programs.

Been looking through the archives here; nothing yet.
Looking through the manuals, nothing yet.

I just don't understand how it could work then quit.

I see our buddy "system" in there.  That's a common routine that is
often 
used instead of QCMDEXC to execute a command from a program.  So,
someone 
is executing a command to RMVM within the FTP command.  Now, FTP is an
IBM 
supplied command.  (Unless you rolled your own and monkeyed around with

the system library list.)
So that leaves us with the potential of exit point programs like
WRKREGINF EXITPNT(QIBM_QTMF*)
Use option 8 on those.  Any hits?
