Changing the cache battery wouldn't do that.  Take a look at QHST
(dsplog) and look for one of these:

Well, we have survived the replacing of the cache battery with only one
weirdness.  Somehow the system changed the QPWDLVL system value from 1
to 2 !

I'm looking at the manual now, but are there any gotcha's to putting it
back ?
