Part of the Post Install process that creates the demo license checks for an existing license for the product using the License Handle. If an existing license is found and it is for the same VnRn, the existing license expiration date is used and a demo license is not created. If it is for a new VnRn, a new demo license will be created for the new VnRn. If no license is found, a demo license is created. Its kind of hard to test this on a single development machine because once I install the product, it seems to remember the license, even after removing the licensed program.

I would like to be able to remove all license info so I could better test the "original" install of the product. But if I could do this, I would probably have to change to the grace period and get/release license process.

How do you ensure that additional demo licences are not created simply
by reinstalling your product?
