Wayne, we did the IPL last night and the disk % dropped all the way down
to 53%. For months at a time, the % ranges only from about 53 to 59 %.
Yet, yesterday it jumped all the way up to 68% and the temporary space
was at nearly 18%. Is there any specific area we could look into which
could cause that unusual TEMP space jump?

Thanks,
Don

Don, that consists primarily of job logs for acitive jobs and objects
residing in library QTEMP. If you IPL the system, that storage will be
released (not reclaimed, which is a different animal entirely).

OK - Now with the latest info, I see that the temporary space is the
culprit - about 17.75% of the disk used for it. What is in that
space?

At the top of PRTDSKINF is the last time RTVDSKINF was ran. Was it
recent?

PRTDSKINFO says that 48.59 % of my disk is "Unused space". However,
WRKSYSSTS shows 68.1 % system ASP used! Should these not calculate to

the same amount of free space??

Three days ago, WRKSYSSTS showed only 56% used. We know of nothing
new recently being added to the system?
