Hi.

Somehow I have managed to make interactive SQL forget how to use the
library list to find a file.  For example:
    SELECT * FROM SOMEFILE
elicits the following response:
    SOMEFILE in CMIDEV type *FILE not found.

Hi David!

Although this isn't QUITE the same thing, you might try this.  After you
start SQL, hit F13, then select option 1 to "Change session attributes".
You should see a "Naming convention" option at the bottom of the screen.  If
it's set to *SQL, that could be your problem.  Change it to *SYS and see if
that helps!

(The reason I say this isn't quite what you're seeing is that the default
schema name is my user profile name, not the system name, but this is a
place to start.)
