All the time. I have two TCP/IP networks. One system in one network isrunning HTTP but I never start any of the other TCP servers, eventemporarily, so I use APPC and SAVRSTLIB, SAVRSTOBJ, and SAVRST totransfer stuff. All outgoing TCP and APPC commands are secured on thissystem so although TCP is running it is locked down. Without SAVRSTxxxI'd have to use my own code (via SNADS or C-PIC or the FTS APIQY2FTML).
