Pat,

WDSCi has increased my productivity ten-fold - and I don't even use it
to its fullest capacity (that said, I don't run into bugs that people
may complain about). In fact, all I do at the moment is use it to code
and verify prior to compiling. I generally compile through Turnover
(purchased change management product). Coding within this product also
lets me see so much more code at once (my resolution is 1280x1024).
Also its innate color-coding system makes it easier to read (I only wish
BIFs had their own color).

I haven't been following this thread, but figured I'd chime in as a user
who has found WDSCi to be an incredible development tool.

Based on your message traffic, most of what you deal with is either
broke or going to be broke, so finding an error in SEU is certainly
within the scope of what you do.

My point was, that using a shoddy product to develop programs is not
acceptable to me. I see way too much traffic on how wonderful WDSc could
be if you could just keep it running.

That traffic has been going on for a number of years at this point.

If you find it acceptable, press on with your development using all
these wonderful, "modern" tools, but please don't point out to me how
outdated I have been in using a tool that works.

We've had this argument before. Even if you got the MCH errors, etc
that I've received with SEU you probably wouldn't even change.

Then we get into the really esoteric argument in the difference
between broke and featureless. There are so many things lacking in
SEU that are built in to WDSC that I call SEU broke. At most, others
may grudgingly admit that SEU lacks a few features.
