lets face it I think you can only work on one thing at a time, (DDS or
RPG) can't you?

Nope - I typically work with multiple sources at a time. Moving back and
forwards between the DDS for display/file and the main programs,
subprocedure sources, etc. I can't remember the last time I worked on a
single source.

In the days when I was forced to use SEU I tended to only work on one source
at a time simply because switching back and forward was too much of a pain
in the ... In fact I often spent more time switching sources than actually
editing. Since I started using WDSC (and before that CODE) it is a one
click operation to switch so I work the way I prefer, which is to have all
relevant sources open at the same time.

I haven't "lost" anything since moving to V6 - and even on V5 it was a
rarity - and was usually fully recoverable from the workspace.

Three features: Multiple source files open; A real tab key (in full screen);
and Outline view. These give me such an advantage when coding that I find
it near impossible to work with SEU - and find it equally hard to understand
why anybody else would either. And there are _way_ more than those three
features that it has over SEU.

Is it sometimes frustrating - yes. But it runs on Windows so it goes with
the territory. I also find iSeries Access, Word, Excel, IE, Firefox, ...
equally frustrating at times - but I still use them.
