Hmm... That's what I was afraid of.

Well, here is what I am wanting to delete, and the reason for deleting is
that I obviously don't need it, but even more so I don't know how to 'clean
it up and out' of my iseries.

Anybody see any red flags with removing the following? From what I
understand, removing the DB2 stuff shouldn't affect my day to day DB2
RPG/JDBC needs.

Licensed Installed
Program Status Description
5722SS1 *COMPATIBLE OS/400 - DB2 Symmetric Multiprocessing
5722SS1 *COMPATIBLE OS/400 - DB2 Multisystem
1TMELCF *INSTALLED Tivoli Management Agent

Thanks for any input,
Aaron Bartell

It may leave a lot of stuff hanging. Let me give you an example. Granted
Domino is not a "traditional" LPP but it does show up in DSPSFWRSC. If I
DLTLICPGM it, the LPP disappears. However all of the data that was there
for the servers is still there. This data will dwarf the space used by the
LPP itself. This probably applies to LPP's also.

Don't forget IFS. Using the same old tools you carted over from the AS/400
may not be what you want on an iSeries.

Delete Licensed Program

I am wanting to remove a licensed program from my system in hopes of
gaining
back some disk space. Will option 12 of GO LICPGM completely delete that
program and give me back the space I am looking for? The manual just
guides
you through the process and gives you some "Considerations" pages.

Are there any other things I should be aware of as I am deleting licensed
programs?

Thanks,
Aaron Bartell
