Yes,

I wrote a program that checks Q manager, channels, queues, 
etc. It uses MQ/PCF.

You can call it every n minutes and take appropriate 
actions.

I can send it to you if you are interested.

In order to check queues and channels you only have to 
create a Queue and start the MQ Command manager 
(STRMQMCSVR).


Has anyone written an i5 program that can be
submitted to batch and check to see if an MQSeries
Manager is active?
