QSRVMON jobs are new in v5r4, their function is to look for possible
problems on the OS or some of the Licence Programs and if the happen to
collect data for IBM to do Problem Determination, also Service Agent has
te ability to report some of this problems automatically to IBM along
     with
     the data collected

     Turning QSFWERRLOG off disable this.

OK. It's shut off. The QSRVMON job shut down. Now we'll see if it starts
     up again. Thanks

And how do I make it stop?

We've been getting these ever since the upgrade to V5R4. I put on the

that was supposed to fix it, but now these jobs appear to have come
     back.
Dozens of these jobs start up for no apparent reason.
