I've done two upgrades V5R3M5 to V5R4M0, but neither of these two
machines was productive (they were shipped with 5.3.5, but put into
production at 5.4).

I just applied all the PTFs that would apply, and then hoped for the
best. Worked fine.

V5R3M5 already has the correct LIC space, and even the image catalog
procedure worked fine.

Subject: Preparation PTFs for V5R3M5 Upgrade to V5R4

Hello experts,

so I did an INSPTF with the upgrade preparation PTFs that came with our
V5R4 order
and it failed, because we do have V5R3M5 on our machine as LIC level.
That damn iPTF website system doesn't even know about V5R3M5 !
I already found out that one of the needed PTFs is not MF33276 which is
for V5R3M0,
which is suoerseeded by MF40595 for M0 and has a "partner" for M5 called

MF40610.
How do I find out the others ?
With V5R3 I would need MF33150, MF36276 and MF36280 for the LIC, and
SI19058
and SI4190 for SS1.
Where can I find a reference between those numbers for V5R3M0 and the
corresponding
PTFs on V5R3M5 ?

Any help appreciated,
Philipp
